Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

ROBLEE HOLYFIELD

Died June 21, 2026-age 93 of Belding, MI.at his daughter's home n care of family 
and Hospice.
Born on March 9, 1933 at home in Aquilla, Alabama, son of Jesse & Lillian 
"Pearl" (Morris) Holyfield.
Roblee enlisted in the U.S.Navy in 1952 serving until 1963.
He met his wife, Winona (Winnie) Baldwin, who was also serving in the Navy.
Winnie & Roblee were married September 12, 1959, at his childhood home in 
Sheridan,MI.
Roblee was a Medical Lab Tech in the Navy. After his service he continued that 
career at hospitals in Reed City, Belding, Greenville, Carson City, & Edmore.
He retired after many years from Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital.
Preceded in death by his wife, Winnie in 2010; brothers, Grover (Buck), Ernest 
(Pocket),Hubert, Gavin, Tommy Gene (Snookie), Rex, Sam, & one sister, Minnie 
Joyce.
Survived by his children; Jim & Betty Holyfield, Roblee Jr & Sally Holyfield, 
Laurice Holyfield, John & Sue Holyfield, Tom & Sonya Holyfield & Barbara &Ted 
Albert; 18 grandchildren & spouses and 30 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great- 
grandchild.
Also survived by his brother Gilmore of Aquilla, Alabama & Roy of Chicora, 
Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11am at Crossview 
Bible Church,220 Alderman St., Belding, MI.
Visitation on Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home from 1-3pm & 5-7pm.
Roblee will be laid to rest at River Ridge Cemetery, next to his wife, Winnie.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to the B Foundation or Belding Athletics.
