Albert “Buck” Hopkins, Jr., age 79, of Orleans died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at
Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids.  Buck was married on April 18, 1953
in Stanton to Patricia Ehle, and she survives along with their children: Mary
Lee Farmer and Greg Nummer of Orleans, Albert M. (Grace) Hopkins of Orleans,
Sandra (Robert) Kelly of Mulliken, Dennis (Donna) Hopkins of Fenwick and Douglas
(Ronda) Hopkins of Kenton.  Buck is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, Dana
(Mark) McCoy, Katie (Jeff) Pinkston, Terry Albert (Amy) McCoy, Michael (Missy)
Hopkins, Trisha (Adam) Meyers, Nicholas Wood, Jeremiah Hopkins, Emma Kelly,
Albert Ray Hopkins, Shelby Kelly and Amanda, Ashley and Amber Johnson; his 9
great-grandchildren: Russell McCoy, Kaylie McCoy, Thomas Williams-McCoy, Ethan
Wood, Maddalynn Kelly-Meyers, Megan Hopkins, Brennan Wood, Isabella Kelly Meyers
and Brooklyn Pinkston; special nephew, Richard (Robin) Johnson and a special
cousin, Jessie Jeffrey; his brothers and sisters: Cleo Hemmingsen, Raymond
Hopkins, Floyd (Joyce) Hopkins and Shirley (Larry) Nostran; his
brother-and-sisters-in-laws: Ed Ehle, Fred (Joyce) Ehle, Virginia Nisonger,
Joyce (Don) Wallace, Bernard (Rose) Ehle, Gilbert (Margaret) Morris, Gene (Rose)
Ehle, Milo (Molly) Ehle.  Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19 at
Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with his brother-in-law, Gilbert Morris
officiating.  Interment with full military honors followed in Clear Lake
Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
