Lake Odessa Wave - Thursday May 29, 1969

Services Held for Jessie "Olive" Horn
 
Mrs. Jessie "Olive" Horn, 92, passed away at the Sunset Acres Nursing Home near 
Hasting on Saturday afternoon. She had been a patient there for several months 
but had been ill for several years.

She was born in Putman, Ohio, March 27, 1877, daughter of Jesse and Elina 
(Miller) Guy and had spent most of her life in the Woodbury and Lake Odessa 
areas. Her husband, Harlan, passed away August 15, 1952.

While residing at Woodbury, she and her husband owned and operated a general 
store before they moved to Lake Odessa 27 years ago.

Her only survivors are nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel. 
Rev. Arthur Ruder officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
