                        PEARL L. HUESTED

IONIA-Pearl L. Huested, 94, formerly of Muir, died Monday in Ionia Manor.

She was born on July 3, 1885, in Fallsburg, Mich., the daughter of Fred and 
Clara Hooper.

She married Silas Huested in 1903 and moved to Muir where she lived for more 
than 73 years.

She was a substitute rural mail carrier in the Muir Post Office for many years.

Mrs. Huested was a member of Muir Presbyterian Church and its ladies 
organizations.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1956.

She is survived by two sons, Leon of Muir and R.C. of Lansing; one brother , 
Glenn Hooper of California; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Muir Presbyterian Church with the Rev's 
Richard Strait and Howard McDonald officiating.

Burial wil be in Muir Cemetery.

Friends may call until noon Thursday at Hull Memorial Chapel. Memorial 
contributions to Muir Presbyterian Church may be left at the chapel.
