MILLISON JEANNE HUGHEY

Died July 19, 2026-age 73.
Born in Grand Rapids, MI to Genevieve & Francis Reed.
She graduated from Creston High School & pursued her passion for nursing.
Married Ralph LaCombe, & together they welcomed two daughters, Jennie & Francie.
Later, she married Charles Hughey & they had 25 years of marriage.
Together they had six grandchildren & three great-grandchildren.
Survived by her daughter, Jennie Posthumus; her grandchildren, Breona Edwards, 
Charles Hughey, Ronald Lemke-Hughey, Nehemiah Taylor (Tara), Alexis Sprague 
(Nate) & Genevieve laCombe; along with her great-grandchildren & many extended 
family members & friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Genevieve & Francis Reed; her brothers, Frank, 
George, Steve & Hank; her husband, Charles Hughey; & her daughter Franie 
(Frannie).
Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Life Community Church, 9206 W.Peck 
Lake Road, Greenville, with a memorial service following at 2:00 a.m.
Millie was a joyful person & made friends wherever she went.
