MIDDLEVILLE- Daniel C. Hutchings 24, of Middleville, formerly of Freeport, died 
Sunday, Nov. 12, 1995 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born Aug. 24, 1971 in Hastings, the son of Daniel and Suze (Sherrington) 
Hutchings. He was raised in Carlton Township of Barry County and attended the 
Woodland School. He graduated from Lake Odessa High School in  1990. He also 
attended the Heartland Institute of Technology in Ionia while in high school.

He was engaged to Bridget Pinkston, whom he was to marry on July 20, 1996.

He was employed at Welton's Heating and Cooling, Inc. in Hastings and had 
previously worked for Schulert Heating and Plumbing in Mulliken and the E.W. 
Bliss Co. in Hastings. he was a member of the Barry County Conservation Club 
and Lake Odessa Sportsmen's Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting 
and fishing especially.

He is survived by his fiancée, Bridget Pinkston, of Middleville; parents, Suze 
and Daniel Hutchings; brother, Eric Hutchings, of Freeport; grandparents; 
Daniel and Betty Hutchings, of Missouri and Doris Hutchings, of Battle Creek; 
several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; future mother-in-law and father-in-
law, Brian and Sue Pinkston of Portland; future brother-in-law Stuart Pinkston; 
and sister-in-law, Sara Pinkston.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Clayton Damren and Ann 
Sherrington. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Wren Funeral Home in 
Hastings with the Rev. John Piercefield officiating. Burial will be in Fuller 
Cemetery in Carlton Township. Arrangements have been made by the Wren Funeral 
Home in Hastings and memorial contributions may be made to the Daniel C. 
Hutchings Memorial Fund.
