Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Oct 1936

Funeral services for Mrs. Satie Ives, wife of Fred C. Ives, of Detroit, former
Ionia resident, was held at the Highland Park cemetery Sunday afternoon at 2
o’clock, with Rev. M. W. Duffey officiating.  Ionia Pere Marquette railroad men
and their wives met the funeral party at the depot.  The auxiliary locomotive
engineers went in a body to her burial.

Mrs. Ives died at her home in Detroit Thursday, October 3, following a severe
stroke suffered Tuesday.
