                               DELITHA M. KAUFFMAN

Delitha May Kauffman, 74, died Saturday afternoon at her home, 705 West Main 
street following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Brookfield township, Eaton county, October 15, 1881 the daughter 
of George and Susannah Prescott.

She was married in Charlotte to Arthur B.Kauffman, August 15, 1905.

The Kauffman's came to Ionia in 1910 and have lived here since.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B.Kauffman, in 1953.

Surviving are two daughters,Mrs.Bernard (Grace) O'Connell, Mrs.Aloysius (Marion) 
Hoover; two sons, Vance B.Kauffman and Dale W.Kauffman, all of ionia; eight 
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, George H.Prescott, Flint, 
and Robert Benton, Castle Rock, Wash., one sister, Mrs Lilly Butler, Oregon.

Funeral services will e held Tuesday at 3 p.m at the Stone-Kauffman Funeral 
Home, the Rev.Court O.Adams officiating with interment at the Balcom Cemetery.
