Excerpts from Portland Obituary

Lawrence Nathan Kenyon

Died Thursday, July 16, 2026-age 81 of Portland.
Born May 13, 1945, the son of Henry & Hilda (Osmon) Kenyon.
In younger years, Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing & being outdoors.
He graduated from Lakewood High School.
Larry worked all his life in a factory & farming.
Preceded in death by his parents, son, Brad Kenyon; siblings, Norma Jean Dietz, 
Sharon Butts & Max Kenyon.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Connie Kenyon; children, Brian(Amy) Kenyon, 
Brenda (Mike) Zahm & Bruce (Kathy) Kenyon; grandchildren, Heather(Tim) Hopkins, 
Todd Kenyon, Travis (Lydia) Bogardus, Casey Bogardus, Jake (Gracie) Kenyon, & 
Coty Kissane and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 23 2026 at the Lehman 
funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland,MI.with Rev. Bob Beckett 
officiating.
Visitation at 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the Country Living Adult Foster Care for the 
loving care given to Larry these past couple months.
Interment will follow at East Sebewa Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Lehman Funeral Home.
