ELROY DOUGLAS"DOC"KIDLE, DDS 1928-2016
Elroy Douglas "Doc" Kidle, DDS, aged 88 of Saranac, passed away April 27, 2016 
at home.He was born March 25, 1928 in Detroit, the son of Lawrence and Vera 
(Roller) Kidle. Doc served in the Navy during the Korean War as a First 
Lieutenant.

He had a dental practice in Saranac serving the area from 1956 until retirement 
in 1995. Doc was a member of the Saranac Community Church, first Presbyterian 
Church in Ionia, Saranac Lions Club, Boston Historical Society, R.E.O. Car Club, 
HCCA. He was a past member of the Saranac Community School board of Education.

Doc was an avid hunter, loved fishing, traveling and sowing antique car. He was 
an ardent U of M fan.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl Kidle of Saranac; daughters Sue(Steve) Beattie 
of St. Louis,MI, John Kidle of Florida and Julie Felice of Saginaw; 
grandchildren Nikki (Andy) Baker of Grand Ledge, Frank (Krystle) Felice of Caro 
and Tori Beattie of Fremont; and three great-grandchildren, Ava, Nicky and 
Asher.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 12 noon at the First 
Presbyterian Church in Ionia with Pastor Bruce Mulder officiating. Visitation 
will be at the church 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Those 
wishing may make memorial contributions to First Presbyterian Church in Ionia or 
American Red Cross. Arrangements by lake funeral Home in Saranac. Online
