                            JOHN A."JACK" KLEIN

IONIA-John A."Jack" Klein, 59, of 307 Lovell street, suffered a fatal heart 
attack at his home Wednesday evening.

He was born in Fowler July 3, 1918, the son of Edmund and Josephine Look Klein.

Mr. Klein attended schools in Fowler and graduated from SS.Peter & Paul Academy 
in Ionia.'

He married the former Margie Grescowle at SS.Peter and Paul Church October 10, 
1940 and they made their home in Ionia.

He served with the U.S. Army in World War II and worked for Peschke Packing 
company in Ionia as a driver-salesman for 28 years becoming grocery manager at 
Fred's Supermarket when Peschke moved to Detroit.

Mr.Klein was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, the Father Friele Council of 
Knights of Columbus, the Ionia Country Club and the Ionia Elks.

Survivors include his wife,; one son, John of Ionia; three daughters, Mrs.Mark 
(Mary) Sparks of Saranac, Mrs Edgar (Karen) Dickerson of Big Rapids, and 
Mrs.Timothy (Patricia) Falsetta of Ionia; two brothers,Robert of Ionia and 
Theodore of Saranac; one sister, Mrs.Robert (Shell) Boyle of Orinda, California 
and two grandchildren.

Services are Saturday at 10 a.m. from SS. Peter & Paul Church with Rev. Father 
Henry Dodzilla officiating.

Burial is in Mt.Olivet Cemetery.

Parish Rosary will be recited at the Leddick Funeral Home Friday at 7 p.m.

Th family will receive friends and relatives at the Funeral home Thursday and 
Friday 7 to 9 and Friday 2 to 4 p.m.
