Kling, who was in the St. Johns hospital for a checkup as to her physical condition and change of medicine, had passed away there Sunday morning Jan. 18th. --------------- Funeral services for Mrs. Charles L. Kling, aged 71 years, were conducted by Rev. A.R. Kuehn at the Evangelical church in Ionia Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 21 and interment was in Oak Hill cemetery in Ionia. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Ray Curtis and Mrs. Dan Campau, and music was furnished by Mrs. Royce Waters. The bearers were Fred Buck, Bruce Fales, Burton Reed, Charles Graff, Roy Weber and Ellis Ranney. Besides her husband, surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. J. Lee Strachan of Ionia and Mrs. Norman Weil of New York, and two sons, Ralph Kling of Baltimore and John Kling of Chicago, and their families. Mrs. Kling will be greatly missed by her many Palo friends.
