                                 NETTIE KNOP

IONIA - Nettie Knop, 92, of Ionia, died Thursday at the Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital.

She was born Nov. 3, 1894, at Falmouth, the daughter of Casper and Fredericka 
(Mulder)Dik.

She married James Knop on March 30, 1916, at Prosper.

She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Evelyn Winkle of Jenison; three sons, Wilbert of 
Ionia, Kerwin of Saranac, and Maurice; nine grandchildren; eight great-
grandchildren; two brothers, Hank and Ted Dik of Falmouth, Ralph Dik of McBain, 
two sisters, Agnes Aardema and Jennie Vischer, both of Zeeland; several nieces 
and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Rich Street Chapel of the 
Montgomery Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery, the Rev. William Dornbush officiating.

The family will be at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8:30 
p.m.

A memorial has been established for Zion United Methodist Church.
