Ionia County News, 4 Jun 1925

William LaDow, 91, pioneer resident of Ionia county, died at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. Jessie Wilsie, in Plymouth, recently.  He came to Ionia county
from New York state in 1853 and his father cleared the land north of Ionia on
the Steele road one what is now known as the Robert Denning, Sr., farm.  Mr.
LaDow conducted a lumber business with John C. Blanchard at one time.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
