DEATH OF MRS. LAUSTER SHOCK TO HER FRIENDS
Follows Husband, Fred G. Lauster, Whose Death Occurred in California Three 
Months Ago

Ionia friends of Mrs. Fred Lauster were shocked to learn of her sudden death 
at her home in Long Beach, Cal., Monday.  A telephone call was received by 
friends here last evening from Edward Lauster, of Flint, telling of the 
death.  Mrs. Lauster had been in very poor health since the death of her 
husband just before Christmas and had been in the sanitarium taking 
treatment.  She had been back at her home for about a week and friends were 
hoping for a speedy recovery.  Mrs. Lauster leaves one daughter, Grace, an 
aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. James Baughman, of Charlotte, and a brother, Ira 
Beck, of Battle Creek.

Mrs. Lena Lauster and Miss Marion Lauster and Mrs. Louis Morganthler had been 
spending the winter in the California home and had only left on April 7.  
George Lauster, father-in-law of Mrs. Lauster went to Flint this morning and 
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lauster expect to go to Long Beach Saturday.  Burial will 
take place in the western city.
