Mrs. Emily Leary, aged 76, died at her home in Saranac Sunday after an illness
of several months.  Mrs. Leary was the mother of Will Leary, well known former
resident of the Smoky Row district.  Another son, Lee Leary, of Saranac, as well
as four daughters, Mrs. Fern Garrison, of Saranac; Mrs. Myrtle Beckwith, of
Ionia and Mrs. Matie Leslie and Mrs. Olive Stairs, of Lake Odessa, also survive.
 Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Saranac
Methodist church with burial in the South Boston cemetery.
