Charles M. Lehman, 71, of 2116 Kellogg Rd., Ionia, died Sunday at Blodgett 
Memorial Hospital.  Born April 6, 1922, in Ionia, he was the son of Harry and 
Laura Sprague Lehman.  He attended Ionia schools and was a retired wood 
cutter.  He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.

He married Bettye Powers on Nov. 6, 1944 in Bisbee, Ariz.  She survives him.  
Also surviving are two brothers, Stanley Lehman and Harry Lehman, both of 
Ionia.  One brother, one sister and his parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, at Hull Memorial Chapel with the 
Rev. Marvis Hale of Grace Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will be at North 
Plains Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 
9 p.m.
