LULU M. LEWIS
MUIR - Lulu M. Lewis, 92, former Muir resident, died Wednesday evening at  Belding 
Christian Nursing Home.

Born May 8, 1898, in Sidney, she was the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle Hancock
Loper.

She was married to Ed Lewis in Ionia in 1916; he died in 1956.

She owned and operated Klip 'n' Kurl beauty shop in Ionia until her retirement in
1971.

She had made her home in Muir from 1931 until she moved to Belding in 1973.

Surviving are tow daughters, Ethelyn Lincoln of Dundee and Myrtle Sage of Muir; four
grandsons, eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; two
brothers, Charles and Marvin Loper of Belding; and a sister, Helen Cottrell of Ionia.

A brother and a sister also preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Muir Cemetery, with Richard
Lincoln officiating.

No visiting hours will be held.

A memorial has ben established for the Belding Christian Nursing Home Activities
Fund, in care of Hull Memorial Chapel, which made arrangements.
