Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard - Tues. Sept. 8, 1953


Funeral services were held at Sebewa Corners Methodist Church Wednesday for 
Mrs. John Lippincott, 67, who died at her home west of Sebewa Corners last 
week. The Rev. Lawrence Jewell officiated.

Bearers were Clyde Thuma, Volney Thuma, Carl and Dennis Petrie, Walter Brown 
and L.C. Rolls. 

Mrs. Lippincott is survived by her husband; five daughters, Frances Goodman of 
Owosso, Norma Spencer of Sebewa, Allene Connor of Marine City, Rachel Binns and 
Beth Bailey of Sebewa; one son, the Rev. Allen Lippincott of Floyd, Texas, and 
a brother, A.E. Halliday of Sebewa.

Mrs. Lippincott was born in Sebewa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar 
Halliday, and resided in that township all her life. She had been ill for the 
last four months.
