Ionia Sentinel Standard, 19 Feb 1945

Requiem mass was sung for Charles M. Mahoney, 61, of 332 ˝ West Main street,
Monday morning at 9 o’clock at SS Peter and Paul church.  The Rev. Fr. John S.
Fons officiated and burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Mr. Mahoney died suddenly Friday in his room 332 ˝ West Main.  He was born
September 24, 1883, in Detroit and had been employed by the Hayes Body
Corporation and later the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company.  He had been in ill
health for six months.
