Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Feb 1974

Bernard Majinska, 75, of route 3, Lake Odessa, died Friday morning at the O’Mara
home where he had resided the past 53 years.  Born September 3, 1898, in Odessa
Township he was the son of Joseph and Martha Slowinski Majinska.  He was a
retired farmer and resided in the area most of his life.  He was a member of St.
Edwards Catholic church of Lake Odessa and was a World War II veteran, serving
with the Army.

Survivors are a brother, Joseph of Lake Odessa; two sisters, Catherine Majinska
of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Bertha Wrestling of Jensen, Fla.

Father Charles Dautremont officiated at funeral mass Monday at 10 a.m. at St.
Edwards Catholic church, Lake Odessa.  Interment was at Lakeside cemetery, Lake
Odessa.  Arrangements were made by Pickens-Koops funeral chapel of Lake Odessa.
