The Belding Banner, Thursday, May 28, 1964

George T. Marr, age 64, of R. R. 1, died Thursday afternoon, at United Memorial 
Hospital Greenville.  Mr. Marr had been a farmer in Orleans Township for the 
past 51 years.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Jennie Barr of Belding; five nephews, Fred 
Barr, Richard Marr, both of Belding, James Marr of Prescott, Arizona, Gerald 
Marr of Grand Rapids, and Walter Marr of Newaygo.

Funeral services were held from the Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral Home Saturday, 
with the Rev. Barry L. Grahl of the Green Corners Baptist Church officiating.  
Burial was in Green cemetery, Ionia county.
