Winfred E. May, age 82, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Winfred 
was born on October 17, 1928 in Enola, Arkansas the son of Oscar and Donnie 
(Ronnie) May.

He worked for General Motors for 37 years and was an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie; sons, Teddy and 
Marvin; brothers, Leroy, Marvin "Buddy", and Arlie. Surviving are his 
children, Roger May of Missouri, Donnie (Anna) May of Charlotte, Jannet 
(Gene) Albin of Missouri, Tara (Kevin) Pulling of Portland, James 
(Catherine) Fox of Eagle, Karen (Lynn) Cudney of Harrison, Janet (Rex) 
Redoutey of Lansing, Howard (Shawn) Fox of Lake Odessa, and Lori Shield of 
Okemos; 25 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Parisian 
of Lansing, Dorthey May of Arkansas, and Mary Trapp of Arkansas, brother, 
Glen May of Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. 

The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Steve Burkhart at 11:00 
a.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 
E. Bridge St., Portland. Interment will follow at Danby Township Cemetery. 
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the 
funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 
American Cancer Society or any Children's Fund. Online condolences may be
