The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, July 13, 1949


Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Myers Funeral home 
for James McBrayne, 74, of 104 West Lincoln avenue.  McBrayne died in a 
Medicine Hat, Alberta hospital of injuries received in an automobile accident 
while vacationing July 7.

The Rev. Everett A. Moore will officiate and the official I.O.O.F. rites will 
be conducted by Dr. Doll of Stanton.  Interment will be in Tuttle cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mae Richards, who was with him at the time 
of the crash; two sons, Roy of Calgary, Alberta, and Robert of Ionia; one 
daughter, Mrs. August Miller of Ionia; one brother, Frank of St. Thomas and six 
grandchildren.
