Funeral services for Miss Mary Miller were held from St. Johns Lutheran church 
Saturday afternoon, May 6.  Rev. R. A. Rook officiated and burial was in 
Highland Park cemetery.  Pall bearers were Fred Hecht, James Lower, Ernest 
Prudy and Glenn Stout.

Miss Miller died Thursday afternoon, May 4, at the home of her sister, Mrs. 
Herman Miller, Jones street, after about three years illness.  She was born in 
Germany 67 years ago and was two years old when her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John 
Miller, came to Ionia.  For the past ten years she had made her home with Mrs. 
Smith.

Surviving relatives are one brother, Fred Miller, of Lansing, and three 
sisters, Mrs. Herman Smith and Mrs. Martha Grams, Ionia, and Mrs. Fred 
Speckin, Saginaw.
