Death Takes Etha M. Nagler
Miss Etha M. Nagler, 81, died on October 20, at the Brooks-Howell Home, Ashville,
N.C.

She was commissioned as a missionary under the Women's Foreign Missionary Society 
while her father, August F. Nagler, was Pastor of Central Methodist Church, Lake 
Odessa, in 1922. She taught in China for many years. As a refugee, she was evacuated to
Shanghai, where she did relief work under the Red Cross. After Pearl Harbor she served in Cuba
and at several posts in this country.  Later she returned to China, then to Burma and
Hong Kong. She retired in 1962.

She is survived by one sister, Eula Nagler, of Oakfield, California.
