Daily Sentinel Standard – Thursday, 23 January 1941
Funeral services for Mrs. Maria Nash, 83, of Grattan, will be held at 2 pm 
Saturday in the Ashley Baptist Church.  Mrs. Nash died late Wednesday at the 
home of her son, John, six miles west of Belding.

Surviving are three sons, C. L. Nash of East Lansing, Earl P. Nash of Belding 
and John E. Nash of Grattan; two brothers, Charles Purdy of Grattan and Ira 
Purdy of Stanton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
