NESTER
Gerald Allen Nester of Lowell
Died Thursday April 11, 2019-age 73
Preceded in death by his parents John and Nellie Nester, sister, Carol 
Nester, brothers, Melvin & Gordon (Bud) Nester, brother-in-law Larry Cahoon.
Survived by wife of 34 years, Shirley (Rickert-Weeks) Nester, daughter Gina 
(Randy) Anderson; 5 stepchildren, sister Marion, mother Katherine, 2 
brothers, 2 sisters-in-law, 4 grandchildren, step-grandchildren, & great 
grandchildren.
Gerald was a handyman carpenter for 20 years, then worked at Forest Hills 
Public Schools at Meadowbrook, then Central Woodland Schools as custodian.
He loved motorcycle riding, hunting & time with family, friend & his church.
He suffered from Parkinson's disease and many other health issues.
Cascade Christian Church services, Grand Rapids are pending.
