Harold W. Nicholson, 64, of 2427 Struble Road, Muir, died Thursday morning at
his residence.  Born Dec. 8, 1920, in Durand, he was the son of Cecil and Edith
Harrison Nicholson.  He attended Judville Schools and served in the U.S. Army
during World War II.  He was married to Irene Hawes in 1950.  He was a retired
employee of Chrysler Trim Plant, Lyons.

Surviving are his wife; five sons, Julius, Cecil, Ronnie and Scott Allen, all of
Muir; and Donald of Anchorage, Alaska; three daughters, Bonnie Owens of Lyons,
Diane Probusky of Edmore and Karen Cupps of Muir; nine grandchildren; two
stepsons, Zenas Hanes Jr. of Muir and Kenneth Hanes of Ionia; and two sisters,
Ruby Rees and Alberta Davis of Flint.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, with
the Rev. Paul D. Carmichael of Lyons Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will be
in Lyons Cemetery.
