Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

MICHAEL O'CONNOR

Died July 11, 2026-age 73-raised in Ionia area. 
Born August 24, 1952 in St.Johns, Mi youngest of six brothers & sisters, son of 
Lyle and Bertha (Martin) O'Connor.
Married Cheryl (Battle) on September 17, 1971 in Ionia & started their family, 
daughter Michelle & son Dennis.
He graduated from Lansing Eastern High School & attended Lansing Community 
College, where he he achieved his Pipefitter journeyman's card through Fisher 
Body Lansing & After 30 years retired.
In his retirement his hobbies were drag racing & restoring vintage cars, trucks 
& trailers. 
He & Cheryl became snowbirds in Arizona.
Survived by his wife, Cheryl, daughter, Michelle O'Connor (Andy Pardoe), of 
Napton, England; son Dennis (Carolyn)O'Connor of Portland,MI, three 
grandchildren,McKenna O'Connor, Jamie Pardoe and Emma O'Connor, sister Sue 
(Steve) Britt of Eagle,MI & three brothers, Gene (Mary) O'Connor of Lansing, 
Mark O'Connor of Phoenix.AZ. and (Patricia) O'Connor of Arizona. He is also 
survived by his brothers and sisters-in-laws; Diana & Stephanie Battle, and many 
nieces & nephews & great-nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents and sister Kay O'Connor.

Celebration o fLife will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Log Cabin 
Inn, 6484 E.Blue Water Highway in Muir, MI. from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Ashes will be buried at Woodard Lake Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Cerebral Amyloid
