Curtis Lee Osborne, aged 77, of Saranac, passed away Oct. 9, 2008.  He was born
Jan. 30, 1931 in Grand Rapids, the son of Ernest and Sylvia (Palmeter) Osborne.
 He married Clara Chase April 20, 1946 who preceded him in death Nov. 20, 2000.
 Curtis retired from General Motors in 1994.

He is survived by his son Tony Osborne of Saranac; 2 grandchildren Curtis and
Nicole; brothers Bud (Myrtle) Osborne of Holt and Bob Osborne of Greenville;
sisters Nancy (Robert) Lautzenheiser of Saranac and Rose Ann (Everett) Welch of
Lansing.  Curtis was proceeded in death by 1 son, Curtis, in 1988, 3 brothers
and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with
Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment Easton Cemetery.  The family will
receive friends and relatives 12-2 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
