Ionia Daily Standard-Sat. Sept. 12, 1908

Luke Otis, well known in Ionia county as a pioneer resident of Berlin township, died
suddenly at his home in Saranac on Thursday night, from heart failure, superinduced by
anxiety over the serious illness of his wife. 

Funeral on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. from the Methodist church at Saranac, with the
Oddfellows in attendance. The brother fraters of Ionia lodge are asked to attend.
