FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT AGE OF 92

Mrs. Lillie E.Parker, 92 former resident and widow of William Parker, passed 
away at her home in Evart, Thursday night after a short illness.

She was born in Wisconsin April 11, 1858 and came with her parents Daniel and 
Mary Knickerbacher Filkins to Campbell Twp., when a small child. After her 
marriage to William Parker of Barry County, the resided southwest of town before 
moving to Evart about forty years ago. He passed away about twenty years ago.

Surviving are two sons, John of Fenton, Charles of Evart, a daughter Mrs.Elsie 
Marlow of Hastings, a sister Mrs.Lina Clemens, besides the grandchildren and 
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Ogilvie Wesleyan Methodist church at Evart 
Sunday at 10 a.m. and at the Lakeside cemetery here at 2 p.m. with burial here.
