Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 16 Feb 1954

Mrs. Watie Pritchard, 76, died February 15. at Butterworth Hospital, where she
had been a patient for the past two weeks.  She was born September, 3, 1887 in
Easton township where she had lived all her life until moving to Saranac two
years ago where she made her home with Mrs. Martha Taylor.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Acker of Saginaw, and Mrs. Ruth Avery
of Grand Rapids, two brothers, Fred Pike of Trufant and Albert Pike of Sand Lake
and six grandchildren.

She was a member of the Easton Community church and the Woman’s Rural club of
Easton and the Woman’s Fellowship club of Saranac.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Morris funeral home, Saranac,
Thursday afternoon at 2:30.  Burial will be in Easton cemetery.
