Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Dorothy I. Pung, 86, of Ionia passed away on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002 in 
Ionia.   She was born on Dec. 14, 1915 in Ionia, the daughter of Ora and Lura 
(Allen) Decker.  She married Florian Pung in 1947.  He preceded her in death in 
1983.  Dorothy was employed for many years by Gittlemans and Homer Haydens in 
Ionia.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Charlie) Cusack of Ionia; 
grandchildren, Chris (Lori) Cusack of Illinois, Carrie Cusack of Ann Arbor and 
Tony (Mary) Cusack of Ionia; and three great-grandchildren.  She was also 
preceded in death by her son Robert Pung in 1996; and brother, Max Decker.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m., 
Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ionia with Father Melvin Fox celebrant.  
Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution to Heartland Health Care.  
Envelopes are available at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
