The Ionia County News, Thursday, May 25, 1939

Mrs. Margaret Ramile died at her home, 449 Center street, Monday evening, May 
22.  Her death followed a stroke she suffered May 17.  

Margaret Schlosser was born in Germany June 29, 1861, the daughter of Peter 
Schlosser and Margaret Ball Schlosser.  When she was ten years old the family 
came to the United States and settled in Michigan and for several years lived 
on a farm in Orange township.  Her husband, Martin Ramile, preceded her in 
death in 1918.

She is survived by three children, John Endres, Ionia, Philip Endres of 
Detroit and Mrs. Frank Biehler of Ionia; two brothers, John Schlosser, Sr., of 
Ionia and Joseph Schlosser of Grand Rapids; ten grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning, May 25, from SS. Peter and Paul 
church at 9 o’clock.  Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
