Excerpts from Belding Obituary

DAVID JOHN RASPOTNIK

Died August 5, 2026-age 72 with family, under care of Corewell Health Hospice.
Born June 15, 1954, in Manistee, MI, son of Joseph & Mamie (Grandpacka) 
Raspotnik, 
Dave worked at Amway Corporation in Ada, retiring in 2019.
He was hard working, determined and a strong person with a smile and a story.
He enjoyed Detroit Tigers, U.of M sports, & Detroit Lions.
Survived by his family, Celia Larsen; daughters, Lisa (Chris) Koeman & Amanda 
Tuka; Celia's sons, Jake & Kyle Larsen; grandchildren, Emmett and Garrett 
Koeman; brothers Melin (Alice) Schweitzer, Jim (Pam) Raspotnik, Joe (Patty) 
Raspotnik, Richard Raspotnik, and Ed (Kathleen) Raspotnik; many nieces, nephews, 
cousins & friends. 
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Mamie Raspotnik, a brother, Frank 
Raspotnik, sisters, Betty Ledger, Kathy Moore and Barb Snay.
Dave's family would like to "Thank You" Corewell Health-Blodgett and Butterworth 
Hospitals as they helped through Dave's battle with cancer. Also the staff and 
caregivers of Corewell Health Hospice for there care & compassion.
Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private memorial 
observances.
Those considering an expression of sympathy in David's memory may make a 
contribution to Corewell Health Hospice.
