Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. Jan. 29, 1955

William F. Rathburn, 95, of Lyons died Friday evening at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Edna Smith.

He was born July 7, 1859 in Ohio, and lived on a farm in Easton township for 
about thirty years. He has made his home with his daughter since the death of 
his wife, Ida ten years ago.

Surviving besides his daughter, Mrs. Smith, are one son, Ray of Ionia, and 
another daughter, Pearl Black of Battle Creek; fourteen grandchildren, 46 great-
grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Myers funeral 
home with the Rev. Lewis Herrick officiating.

Interment in Easton Cemetery.
