Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 18 Jul 1957

William F. Richards of 311 East Main street, died at his home Tuesday, July 16.
 He was 84.  Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday from the Groves and Co.
Memorial chapel in Flint with the Rev. R.J. Button officiating.  Interment will
be in Davidson cemetery.

He was born in Davidson July 27, 1872 the son of David and Sara Richards.  He
moved to Ionia three years ago from Davidson, where he had lived all his life. 
He was married to Estella Foote at Davidson on June 16, 1895.  Mr. Richards is a
former General Motors employee.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Glenydene Peabody of Ionia; three
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. C.H. Howes of Flint,
and one brother, C.I. Richards of Davidson, and several nieces and nephews.
