GLADYS RICHARDSON
CLARKSVILE -  Mrs. Gladys Richardson, 54, of 483 Strawberry Lane, Morrison lake,
died Saturday evening at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, She had been hospitalized since
January 18.

She was born September 22, 1922 in Odessa township. the daughter of Glen and Mary 
Augst Shaw.

A graduate of Lake Odessa high school, she married Clarence Richardson October 18,
1941 at Lake Odessa. They lived in Grand Ledge for 22 years after their marriage and
moved to Morrison Lake six years ago.

She was employed by the Grand Ledge Chair Company for four years and was a 
bookkeeper for the Charlotte chair Company from 1966 to 1972.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Sue Skeen of Hot Springs,
South Dakota and Mrs. Cheryl Colon of Clarksville; one son, Paul of Colorado Springs,
Colorado; one brother, William Shaw of Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Frances Willits of Grandville;
five grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Services are Wednesday at 2 pm from the Pickens-Koops funeral Chapel with Rev. Royce

Robinson officiating.

Burial is in Lakeside cemetery.

A memorial fund is established for the American Cancer Society.
