Lake Odessa Wave, 27 Nov 1941

Ira Ritenburg, 77, died Wednesday evening at his home in the northeast part of 
town, after a long period of failing health.

Mr. Ritenburg was born in Ontario, Canada, and came to Michigan at the age of 
16.  He with his wife, who was Minnie Dye of Ohio, spent about 50 years in 
Sebewa and Orange townships.  For the past six years they have lived here in 
the village.

The deceased is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Sindlinger of 
Sebewa and Mrs. Benjamin Mull of Arcadia; and a son Hubert at home; also nine 
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at the Wortley & Baine chapel at two o’clock Saturday 
afternoon.
