Ionia Sentinel Standard, 18 Mar 1926

The death of Mrs. Jefferson Robinson, formerly of Ionia, occurred at Los
Angeles, Cal., February 28.  Mr. and Mrs. Robinson lived in Ionia 20 years ago,
and left Ionia, and went to Texas.  They have made their home in Los Angeles for
eight years.  Mrs. Robinson was born in New York in 1843, and when 2 years of
age came to Michigan, where she received her education to become a teacher,
graduating from Ypsilanti.  She taught in the Lowell and Grand Rapids schools. 
Her husband and one son, L.D. Robinson, of Los Angeles, Cal., survive.  The
funeral services were held from the Presbyterian church in Los Angeles, she
having been a member of that denomination for 70 years.  Interment was in
California.
