Excerpts from Portland Obituary

DEBRA MARIE ROCKEY

Died peacefully on July 3, 2026-age 65 of Lyons,MI.
Debra lived a full life of laughter resilience and an ability to connect with 
others.
Her many friends will remember her kindness & compassion she brought to every 
conversation.
Debra in later years enjoyed caring for & adopting homeless dogs.
She jokingly claimed to be an expert of befriending the oddballs and the 
misfits.
Survived by her sons, Cory (Alyn), Joel (Caitlin), and Taylor, her 
granddaughters Ainsley & Cathy; her brother, David (Christine): & her sisters, 
Deanne (Mark) & Colleen (Brad).Also many extended family members, & friends.
Debra wished to be laid alongside her parents, Harold & Judy, & her beloved 
departed dogs-HoneyBun, Lucky, & Gizmo.
A graveside service will be held on August 15, at 10:00 am. at St.Joseph 
Cemetery in Pewamo, MI. Friends & family are welcome to attend.
To honor Debra's memory, may make a donation to your animal shelter in Debra's 
remembrance.
