Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. July 11, 1977


SARANAC- Edna Rolfe, 74, of 249 Orchard Street, died Friday evening at 
Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids. 

She was born in Freeland June 7, 1903, the daughter of Otto and Wilhemina Block.

She married Edmund Rolfe June 27, 1923. He preceded her in death in 1959.

Mrs. Rolfe had lived in the Saranac area for the past 30 years.

Survivors include one son Donald of Saranac; one daughter Mrs. Alta Golombisky 
of Saranac; one sister; Mrs. Ollie Ostrander of Chesaning; five grandchildren 
and three great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday afternoon at Roetman Funeral home with Rev. James Frank 
officiating.

Burial is in Saranac Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan heart fund.
