NAOMI JANE ROOT

Died Thursday, August 27, 2026-age 65 og Ionia.
Born August 19, 1961 of Clare, daughter of Roy & Constance Munger.
Naomi enjoyed crafting, music, collecting things, garage sales & thrift 
shopping.
She enjoyed going to the Ionia Free Fair.
Was employed at Electrolux in Greenville for 20 years.
A special thanks to the staff at Ionia Davita Dialysis and U of M Sparrow 
Hospital of Lansing, for their excellent care.
Survived by her mother, Connie Munger, children, Dana Root of Ionia & 
Robert Root III of Ionia,
Grandchildren,Spencer & Olivia Tripp, Sisters, Rhonda (Steve) Meyers of 
Pewamo and Teresa (Kevin Meyers of Wyoming, Sibling-in-laws Nathan Root of  
Ionia, Linda (Randy) Winright of Belding and Jenny Root of Ionia, several 
nieces & nephews, great nieces & great-nephews.
Preceded in death by her father, Roy Munger, husband, Robert Root II, 
brother-in-law Thomas Root,Mother and Father-in-law, Robert & LaDonna Root.
Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at Shiloh 
Community Church on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor 
James Floyd officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of the services.
Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
