Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Aug 1973

Mrs. Clara A. Rose, 87, died Sunday evening at Ionia Manor following an extended
illness.  Born in Ionia township March 10, 1886, she was the daughter of John
and Anna Johnson.  In 1927 she was married to Ernest Rose and he died in 1941.  

Surviving are two sons, William Rose of Portland and Oscar Peterson of Ionia;
three grandchildren.  Five brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home in
Ionia.  Family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.  Interment
will be at Highland Park cemetery.  Arrangements were made by Hull Memorial
chapel in Muir.
