Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Rosenquist, formerly of Lyons, who died in 
Detroit Friday after eight weeks of illness, were held in the Lyons Baptist 
church Monday afternoon with Rev. Curry, of Lyons, officiating.  Interment 
took place in Lyons cemetery.

Mrs. Rosenquist was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.  Frank Riker, of Lyons and 
was born 35 years ago while her parents were residents of Orange.  She 
graduated from the Lyon's school in 1914 and from the Ypsilanti State Normal 
in 1915.  She had taught schools in Monroe, Lansing, and Redford.  She united 
with the Presbyterian Church in Lansing in 1915.

Those surviving are the husband, Leon F. Rosenquist; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Frank Riker; brothers and sisters, Agatha Ragan, Bessie McGee and Florence 
Green, of Lansing; Cecil Riker, of Saranac; Frank, Jr., Thelma and Stanley of 
Lyons.
