Bud was born Feb. 13, 1957, in Ionia, the son of Bernard Sr. and Averill Rowley. And of Bud it retired from Electrolux in 2005 after 30 years of service and was currently working at Greenville Cinema. An avid hunter and fisherman, Bud enjoyed the outdoors, fixing things and working on rebuilding his Harley. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bud was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Diana Rowley; and a brother, Scott Rowley. Bud is survived by his children, Tonya and Brian Van Portfleet, Jason and Ashley Brown, Katrina and Jeremy Baylis, Jake and Kristin Rowley, all of Greenville, Brian Rowley of Belding; his grandchildren, Rafael, Miguel, Kaden, Kaine, Noli, Alec, Alyssa, Elicia, Travis, Brennon, Lucas, and Kayla; his mother, Averill Kitchen of Greenville; his brothers, Kevin Rowley of Greenville, Shawn and Beth Rowley of New York, and Shane Rowley of Greenville; as well as his longtime companion, Kiril Alber, and her family. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday Jan. 10, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Private committal prayers will be at Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
