REV. CARL E. RUBLE
BELDING - Rev. Carl E. Ruble, 82, of Belding, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 1995 at United

Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 24, 1913, in Lake City, the son of Alva A. and Ida P. (Ford) Ruble.
He graduated from Spring Arbor High School and College in 1937. He served as a minister
with the North Michigan Conference of the Free methodist Church for more than 40 years.
He also was a member of the Belding Free Methodist Church. He married Lucille Green in
Bellaire on Sept. 28, 1933.

His wife survives, along with daughters; Victoria (Charles) McKay, of Codiak,
Alaska, and Ruth Ann (James) Morgan, of Kingsley; sons; Ronald L. (Linda) Ruble, of Mt.
Pleasant, and William E. (Linda) Ruble, of Belding; nine grandchildren; _0 great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews; brother Rev. Alfred A. Ruble, of Greenville; and sister-in-law
Ethel Tobias, of Sturgis. 

He was preceded in death by grandson Tracy Morgan , one sister and six brothers.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Free Methodist church in
Belding with Rev. David L. Burton officiating. Interment will be in Brown Cmetery in Barryton and
visitation will be from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm, Thusday at Johnson Funeral
home in Belding.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Free Methodist church in Belding.
