Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

RICHARD "RICKY" SCHEID

Died August 31, 2026-age 66.
Born September 15, 1959, in Greenville, son of Harold & Jean(Jonas)Scheid.
Ricky was a hard worker, a regular on Dial a Ride.
He enjoyed fishing, working on cars & going to races with Denny Zander & working 
on houses with his brother, Roger.
Ricky had health problems but it never got him down, he was alway helping, on 
Grandpa Jonas's farm in the summer, shoveling snow for neighbors in the winter.
Others have helped Ricky over the years & the family would like to thank them 
for looking out for him, also for the care & compassion he received from Golden 
Life Assisted and Hospice.
Surviving are his siblings; Becky (Phil) Heintzelman, Robert (Kolleen) Scheid, 
Suzanne (Gary) Christensen, Roger Scheid, David (Lenora) Scheid, many nieces, 
nephews, extended family members and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial wil be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 
St.Mary's Catholic Church, Miriam with Fr Andrew Ayers as celebrant.
Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass
Memorial contributions may be directed to St.Mary Catholic Church.
